The investment will support Spinergy’s next phase of growth as an independent premium component supplier within the Sunrise Medical Group.
For more than three decades, Spinergy has earned the trust of active wheelchair users and elite athletes, with its wheels offered by leading wheelchair manufacturers around the world. Its proprietary PBO fiber-spoke technology combines exceptional strength and low weight with vibration absorption, helping to soften the impact of uneven surfaces. From everyday mobility to the Paralympic stage, this distinctive technology has made Spinergy a benchmark for performance and a brand riders ask for by name. Today, 90%+ of world-class athletes choose Spinergy wheels for their primary sport chairs.
Spinergy will continue to operate independently within the Sunrise Medical Group, retaining its brand and its entire organization and team. Its long-standing relationships with wheelchair manufacturers, distributors and users will remain at the heart of the business, with a continued commitment to serving partners across the mobility industry.
Sunrise Medical will support Spinergy’s growth through further product development, enhanced customer support and broader market reach.
