The history of Complex Rehab Technology has almost exclusively occurred within the past 60 years. A young industry, CRT history is rich with legendary innovators, influential leaders, passionate clinicians, brilliant engineers, dedicated manufacturers, and powerful brands. This article is part 2 in the series covering the history of CRT in North America, this time with the focus on seminal events and trailblazers whose work from the 1960’s into the mid-1990’s served to shape the CRT seating and positioning industry of today. Most documentation of key events in CRT history lives in the memories of CRT veterans.
