NRRTS Selects Andrea Madsen as New Executive Director
The National Registry of Rehabilitation Technology Suppliers (NRRTS) has selected Andrea Madsen, ATP, CRTS® as its new Executive Director. Madsen, who previously served as the Treasurer of NRRTS, brings over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry to her new role, effective Monday, November 13.
Madsen is an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) and Certified Rehabilitation Technology Supplier (CRTS®). She has been a NRRTS Registrant since 2011 and has served on the Board of Directors since 2013. Madsen has also been a member of the American Association for Homecare and the National Coalition for Assistive and Rehab Technology.
“I am honored to have been selected as the Executive Director of NRRTS,” said Madsen. “It’s a true privilege to expand my service to the NRRTS organization. I look forward to working with the Board of Directors and the Registrants to continue to advance the mission of NRRTS.”
“I can’t think of a more enjoyable and rewarding experience than working with this great organization over the past 10 years,” said Weesie Walker, ATP/SMS, Executive Director since 2013. “I know Andrea will be a tremendous asset in the role of Executive Director and I plan to help make this transition as smooth as possible. Andrea starts on Monday, 11/13. The full transition should be complete by the end of this year.”
Going forward, Walker’s focus will be completing NRRTS’ CRT Supplier Education Program.
