Identifying and obtaining CRT early after SCI is a complex process. The CRT team and the individual with SCI must collaborate to quickly prioritize the client’s immediate needs after hospital discharge while also understanding their future function and goals. In this educational webinar, we will discuss strategies for the CRT team to identify and meet the client’s early CRT needs to optimize long-term outcomes and function.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Participants will be able to describe how changes in the early rehabilitation length of stay for clients with spinal cord injuries impact complex rehab technology across the continuum of care.
  • Participants will be able to identify three common complex rehab technologies available early following spinal cord injury to facilitate activities of daily living.
  • Participants will be able to describe the role of the ATP across the continuum of care to best meet the needs of clients with spinal cord injuries.
