UCP 2024 Conference…

Join us for the UCP 2024 Conference on Latinos with Disabilities.

The goal of the conference is to provide a platform for discussions and presentations on issues impacting Latinos in the disability community. While many of the topics addressed will also be of interest to the general disability community, the conference highlights the distinct ways — culturally, socially, and economically — that Latinos with disabilities, their families and service providers shape the community.

  • This 3-day online event happens Sept. 3-5, 2024, 10 a.m to 4 p.m. Eastern each day.
  • Closed captioning in English and Spanish will be provided.
  • Admission is free.

Agenda

Among a few of the topics to be presented: Workforce integration, transition services, voting rights and the 2024 elections, AI and people with disabilities, podcasts and people with disabilities, protecting disability rights, the legacy of Latino families at Willowbrook State School, and crossing borders/challenging disability disparities in the U.S., Mexico and Canada.
