Description

Do you settle for ‘good enough’ in your life? Should your clients? The choices for equipment for the bathroom range from big box store purchases to made-to-measure custom products. Which one is good, which one is better, which one is best? Based on goal setting, temporal needs and environmental considerations, this session will help create a framework to help providers go the extra mile to ensure their clients are getting the best solutions.

Learning Outcomes:
Participants will be able to describe the importance of goal setting in the prescription of durable medical equipment.
Participants will be able to list six categories of seating in the bathroom.
Participants will be able to differentiate the value of prescribed versus retail products to support seating in the bathroom.
Stephanie Laurence wants to live in a world where every wheelchair is perfectly fitted, comfortable, functional and used correctly.
