This course is designed for professionals who will be involved in the development or decision process of clients to be considered for Sip & Puff as a means of operating a power wheelchair. The purpose is to have an understanding how to apply Sip & Puff and the options available for the end user.
Learning Outcomes:
- Participants will identify 3 reasons why sip and puff is a viable method of driver control.
- Participants will be able to apply at least 3 types of latch driving methods when using Sip & Puff.
- Participants will be able to list 2 types of seating configurations when using Sip & Puff.
