As individuals with cerebral palsy age through adulthood, many experience changes in their functional mobility and support needs. When mobility, posture, or health conditions shift, complex rehab technology (CRT) can play a vital role in maintaining independence, safety and quality of life. This course equips healthcare professionals with tools to address the range of CRT that may be needed to optimally support individuals with cerebral palsy through adulthood.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Identify the ways in which new and evolving health conditions in adults with cerebral palsy can impact activity performance and participation in daily life.
  • List at least two key considerations when recommending complex rehab technology for adults with cerebral palsy.
  • Describe key challenges and strategies for obtaining funding for CRT for adults with cerebral palsy.
