The objective of the Privacy Policy training is to provide all employees the information they require to identify and manage privacy breaches. The training helps learners understand the importance of Privacy Policy, identify the supporting policies and documentation related to privacy and describe their role in managing privacy breaches (including communication to the individuals, internal documentation, etc. For any questions or concerns, please contact us at learning@motioncares.ca.
Canadian Context: In Canada there is national privacy legislation that applies to durable medical equipment providers. This legislation covers both the safeguards that need to be in place, as well as the government reporting requirements should a breach occur.
